Anjouan Casinos in Canada 2026

Anjouan casinos give Canadian players access to offshore gambling sites licensed outside the provincial system. We selected three for our 2026 ranking: StayCasino at 4.5/5, followed by Wolfy Casino and Osombet at 4/5 each. We also checked their licences instead of relying on a badge in the website footer. All three returned a VALID status during our latest check, and the registered domains matched the casinos we reviewed. Below, we compare the sites first, then look at what an Anjouan licence actually covers, how it can be verified and where its protection stops.

Our Top 3 Anjouan Casinos

Our list is deliberately short. We already review all three casinos on SlotCasinoCanada.ca, and we were able to match each site to a separate Anjouan licence.

CasinoSCC RatingLicensed CompanyLicence NumberBest For
StayCasino4.5/5Metlait SRLALSI-202509073-FI2Best Overall
Wolfy Casino4/5Wild Blackfin Limited SRLALSI-202601043-FI2Licence Transparency
Osombet4/5OSOM Entertainment GroupALSI-202410027-FI1Crypto

All three had valid operating records when we checked them. That alone isn’t enough for a high SCC rating. Our scores also cover payments, games, bonus conditions, account rules, mobile use and other parts of the casino.

StayCasino: Interac, CAD and 8,000+ Games

SCC Rating: 4.5/5

StayCasino takes first place with 4.5/5, the highest existing SCC rating among the three sites in this comparison. Its licence is held by Metlait SRL under number ALSI-202509073-FI2.

We checked more than the company name. The validation record showed staycasino.com as the registered website and returned VALID as the operating status. That exact domain match is important because a genuine licence belonging to a company isn’t useful evidence for a different, unregistered website.

StayCasino also has the most conventional Canadian cashier of our three picks. CAD is supported, and the payment selection includes Interac alongside cards, e-wallets and cryptocurrency. In our existing review, Interac was available from $20, with limits reaching $4,000.

The casino has a large game lobby as well, with more than 8,000 games listed when we reviewed it. That combination puts StayCasino ahead of the two 4/5 sites rather than the licence status alone.

Wolfy Casino: A Verifiable Licence and Matching Domain

SCC Rating: 4/5

Wolfy Casino gets 4/5 on SCC. Its current regulatory record connects wolfycasino.com to Wild Blackfin Limited SRL.

The licence number we verified is ALSI-202601043-FI2. The registered website field contains wolfycasino.com, and its operating status was VALID during our latest check.

There’s another detail here that we wouldn’t get from looking at a licence logo. Wild Blackfin Limited SRL gives a business address in San Jose, Costa Rica. The gambling licence itself comes from Anjouan. Those are two different pieces of information, and they shouldn’t be presented as though the operator must be physically based on Anjouan simply because its casino uses that jurisdiction.

Wolfy gives us a useful example of why we check the company and domain behind an offshore licence, not just the jurisdiction printed at the bottom of a casino homepage.

Osombet: Crypto Payments and Direct Domain Verification

SCC Rating: 4/5

Osombet Casino is our crypto-focused pick and scores 4/5. Its validation result differs from the other two. osombet.com is registered to OSOM Entertainment Group under licence ALSI-202410027-FI1. The company address shown by the validation system is in Hamchako, Mutsamudu, Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comoros.

The registered domain matched the site we reviewed, and its operating status returned VALID during our latest verification.

Osombet makes more sense for players interested in digital currencies than either of the first two casinos. Its payment selection has included Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, USDT, Cardano, DOGE, Solana, TRON and other cryptocurrencies. That’s also why Osombet appears separately in our Canadian crypto casinos ranking.

The game selection isn’t limited to a few crypto-oriented studios. We found more than 60 providers, including names such as Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Evolution, Yggdrasil and Big Time Gaming.

Latest Anjouan Licence Check

A licence badge isn’t what got these casinos into the table. We checked the company, licence number, registered website and operating status for each casino through the Anjouan validation system.

Licence data last checked: September 15, 2026.

There were three different companies, three different licence numbers and three exact domain matches.

The public register allows a licence to be searched by company, licence number or operational domain. Its results include the licence holder, licence type and current status. The regulator also warns that successful verification isn’t an endorsement of the operator’s products, services or business practices.

Harrison Glover, Online Casino Expert at SlotCasinoCanada.ca: “A licence logo is the easy part to copy. The domain is what I want to see. If the company, licence number and casino domain don’t line up in the regulatory record, I wouldn’t treat the licensing claim as confirmed.”

That’s why our casino ratings aren’t based on VALID versus INVALID alone.

What Is an Anjouan Casino Licence?

An Anjouan casino licence is an Internet Gaming Licence issued under the laws of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, part of the Union of the Comoros.

It is an offshore gambling licence. It isn’t an Ontario licence and doesn’t turn a casino into an operator regulated by a Canadian provincial authority.

Players comparing Anjouan with other regulatory systems can see our broader online casino licences guide.

One useful part of the current system is its public register. Rather than accepting a certificate image, we can search for the company or domain and see the regulatory status attached to it.

B2C vs B2B Anjouan Licences

Anjouan separates Internet Gaming Licences into B2C and B2B categories. A B2C licence covers an operator providing gambling services directly to players. A B2B licence applies to businesses supplying relevant technology or services to operators.

The distinction stops a common licensing mistake. A B2B approval held by a platform or software supplier isn’t the same thing as confirming the B2C status of the casino holding the player’s account.

Anjouan Casinos in Canada

3 Casinos, 3 Companies, 3 Anjouan Licences

None of our three selected casinos shares the same licence with another member of the Top 3.

StayCasino points to Metlait SRL. Wolfy Casino points to Wild Blackfin Limited SRL. Osombet points to OSOM Entertainment Group. The licence numbers differ too:

  • StayCasino: ALSI-202509073-FI2
  • Wolfy Casino: ALSI-202601043-FI2
  • Osombet: ALSI-202410027-FI1

We haven’t assigned our own meaning to the FI1 and FI2 endings. They appear in the licence numbers we verified, but that isn’t enough evidence to explain what the suffix identifies.

An Anjouan Licence Doesn’t Mean the Operator Is Based in Anjouan

Two of our three validation records make this clear.

Metlait SRL, the company attached to StayCasino, lists an address in Cartago, Costa Rica. Wild Blackfin Limited SRL, attached to Wolfy Casino, lists San Jose, Costa Rica.

OSOM Entertainment Group is different. Its validation record gives an address in Mutsamudu, Anjouan.

CasinoLicensed CompanyAddress Shown in Validation
StayCasinoMetlait SRLCosta Rica
Wolfy CasinoWild Blackfin Limited SRLCosta Rica
OsombetOSOM Entertainment GroupAnjouan

That leaves 2 of the 3 companies in our sample with Costa Rican addresses, despite all three gambling sites using Anjouan licences.

There’s no contradiction. The gambling jurisdiction and the address listed for the licensed company are separate pieces of information. We record both rather than describing every Anjouan-licensed operator as an “Anjouan company.”

How We Verify an Anjouan Casino Licence

Our check can be repeated without registering at the casino. First, we find the company and licensing information displayed by the site. Then we check the regulatory record and compare four fields:

  1. Company name – who is attached to the casino?
  2. Licence number – does the number match?
  3. Registered domain – is the actual casino website covered?
  4. Current status – is the licence currently valid?

Osombet gives us a straightforward example. Our latest check returned OSOM Entertainment Group, licence ALSI-202410027-FI1, osombet.com and a VALID status.

StayCasino and Wolfy passed the same four checks with their respective companies, numbers and domains.

The official verification framework recommends using the public register or the QR code attached to the certificate. It also warns against relying on certificate copies that cannot be verified, since a saved certificate can be outdated or altered.

What Does an Anjouan Licence Require?

A current licence comes with operating requirements rather than simply permission to display a seal. The regulatory standards cover AML controls, customer due diligence, transaction monitoring and suspicious activity reporting. Operators also have to appoint a compliance officer.

Player balances are covered separately. Licensed companies must maintain adequate financial resources and segregate player funds from operational funds. RNG games require certified random number generators, while responsible gambling rules include age verification and self-exclusion.

AreaCurrent Requirement
AMLCustomer due diligence and transaction monitoring
Player FundsSegregation from operational accounts
RNGCertified random number generators
Age ControlsRequired
Self-ExclusionRequired
Player LimitsRequired
Compliance ReportingRequired

Responsible gambling requirements go further than a self-exclusion link. Operators are expected to offer controls covering deposits, wagers, losses and session duration.

The rules also require clear disclosure of bonus conditions and withdrawal terms.

What an Anjouan Licence Does NOT Guarantee

A VALID result doesn’t tell us how long a withdrawal will take. It doesn’t tell us whether the welcome offer is good, whether support answers in two minutes or whether the casino has a $2,000 or $20,000 cashout limit.

Those are operator-level questions. There is also an important distinction around disputes. The Anjouan Gaming Authority itself doesn’t mediate or adjudicate individual player complaints. Players must first use the operator’s complaint process.

The current rules require operators to investigate and respond within 30 calendar days. If the matter remains unresolved, it can then be escalated to an approved independent ADR provider, and participation in ADR is mandatory for licensed operators.

So the accurate position isn’t “Anjouan doesn’t provide dispute resolution.” The Authority itself isn’t the tribunal, but its framework requires an independent route after the casino’s internal process.

This is also why three casinos with valid licences can have different SCC ratings.

Anjouan vs Curaçao Casino Licences

Anjouan and Curaçao are both offshore gambling jurisdictions. They aren’t the same licensing system.

Curaçao has undergone a major regulatory change in recent years, so old descriptions built around the former master-licence and sublicense structure shouldn’t be carried into a current comparison.

Anjouan uses its own licensing framework, B2C/B2B categories and public verification system.

We don’t use the jurisdiction name alone to decide which casino is better. The operator, licence status, domain, account conditions and payment rules still need to be checked. Our separate Curacao casinos page covers that jurisdiction in more detail.

Are Anjouan Casinos Safe?

We wouldn’t give every licensed site a blanket yes. Our Top 3 produced 3/3 valid statuses, 3/3 matching domains and 3/3 identifiable licensed companies during our latest check.

That’s useful evidence. It isn’t the entire safety review. We still read withdrawal conditions, KYC rules, payment limits and the operator information in the Terms. Software, responsible gambling controls and the complaint process are checked separately. Our safe online casinos guide covers those broader checks.

Harrison Glover, Online Casino Expert at SlotCasinoCanada.ca: “VALID tells me that the regulatory record checked out when we verified it. It doesn’t tell me whether I’d recommend the casino. I still want to know who controls the account, what can delay a withdrawal and which rules apply once real money is involved.”

That difference between licence verification and casino recommendation is why StayCasino can score 4.5/5 while two other sites with valid records remain at 4/5.

The 5-Minute Anjouan Casino Check

You don’t need to read every legal page before finding out whether an unfamiliar licensing claim makes sense:

  1. Find the licence details. Look for the company and licence information rather than accepting “licensed in Anjouan” on its own.
  2. Search the official register. Use the company, licence number or operational domain.
  3. Match the domain. Make sure the website you’re visiting appears in the regulatory record.
  4. Read the withdrawal rules. Check limits, processing conditions, verification and published fees.
  5. Compare the company names. The legal information on the casino should make sense alongside the regulatory record.
CheckWhat We Want to SeeWhat We’d Investigate
LicenceVerifiable current recordNo matching record
CompanyIdentifiable companyDifferent or unclear company
DomainExact casino domainDomain not found
WithdrawalsPublished rules and limitsImportant conditions missing
KYCClear verification termsConflicting information

Five matches aren’t a promise that nothing will ever go wrong. A serious mismatch is enough for us to investigate further before treating the licensing claim as confirmed.

KYC at Anjouan Casinos

An offshore licence doesn’t automatically mean no KYC. The current regulatory standards require customer due diligence as part of AML controls. Transaction monitoring and suspicious activity reporting are also included.

That means a casino can allow quick registration and still request documents later. The timing can differ by operator and account. Verification may involve identity, age, address or payment information, with additional checks where required.

Cryptocurrency doesn’t remove those obligations either. A Bitcoin or USDT transaction can still be connected to an account subject to verification. Calling an Anjouan licensed casino “no-KYC” solely because it didn’t request a passport at signup would therefore be misleading.

Payment Methods at Anjouan Casinos

There isn’t a standard payment setup shared by every casino under this licence.

StayCasino has the most conventional Canadian cashier of our Top 3. We found Interac, cards, e-wallets and cryptocurrency, with Interac starting from $20 and reaching $4,000 in our review.

Osombet goes much further into crypto. Its selection has included BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT, ADA, DOGE, SOL and TRX.

Wolfy sits between those two examples rather than giving us a reason to describe all three cashiers the same way.

We also check funding and withdrawals separately. A logo appearing when money is added doesn’t prove that the same method will be offered when winnings are cashed out.

Games and Software at Anjouan Casinos

The licence doesn’t dictate the size of the game lobby. StayCasino had more than 8,000 games when reviewed. Osombet listed 60+ software providers, including Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Evolution, Yggdrasil and Big Time Gaming.

Those numbers tell us different things. One measures the size of the game catalogue; the other tells us how many studios contribute to it. We also look at navigation once the library gets large. Eight thousand games aren’t much help if the provider filter is poor or a specific title takes several minutes to find.

Live casino needs its own check too. A licence doesn’t guarantee Evolution, Pragmatic Play or another specific studio will be available.

Bonuses at Anjouan Casinos

There is no standard Anjouan welcome bonus. The operator sets the promotion, wagering requirement, maximum permitted bet, validity period and game restrictions.

Four details get our attention first:

  • wagering requirement;
  • maximum bonus bet;
  • validity period;
  • excluded or reduced-contribution games.

The Code of Conduct requires licensed operators to disclose bonus terms, wagering requirements and withdrawal conditions clearly.

We still read the actual casino terms rather than assuming compliance makes every promotion equally good. A temporary 200% offer also doesn’t change our opinion of the licence, company or withdrawal setup.

Mobile Anjouan Casinos

All three casinos can be accessed from a mobile browser, so a desktop download isn’t required for the main casino experience. We pay more attention to what happens after the homepage loads. Game filters, search, cashier access and account settings all need to remain usable on a smaller display.

Live dealer games add another test because the stream and betting controls have to fit on the same screen.

A dedicated app isn’t automatically better. If the browser version loads quickly and keeps the important controls accessible, there’s little reason to award extra points just because another installation is available.

How We Rate Anjouan Casinos

We keep the existing SCC casino rating instead of inventing a separate score for this page. For this category, however, we put extra attention on the operator and regulatory record.

Rating FactorWeight
Licence & Operator Transparency20%
Payments & Withdrawals20%
Games & Software15%
Bonus Terms15%
KYC & Account Rules10%
Mobile Experience10%
Responsible Gambling & Support10%

Licence & Operator Transparency, 20%. We check the company, licence number, domain and current regulatory status.

Payments & Withdrawals, 20%. Available methods aren’t enough. Limits, fees and cashout conditions are part of the assessment.

Games & Software, 15%. We look past the total game count to providers, game types and the usefulness of the lobby.

Bonus Terms, 15%. Wagering, maximum bets, validity and exclusions carry more weight than the headline percentage.

KYC & Account Rules, 10%. Verification conditions need to be available and understandable.

Mobile Experience, 10%. Games, navigation and cashier access are checked on smaller screens.

Responsible Gambling & Support, 10%. Account controls, complaint procedures and support access complete the rating.

All three casinos passed our latest licence verification. Their overall scores still differ: 4.5/5 for StayCasino and 4/5 for Wolfy and Osombet.

Anjouan Casinos Pros and Cons

The public verification system is useful because it lets us go beyond a logo displayed by the casino itself.

Pros

  • Public licence verification
  • Operational domains can be checked
  • B2C and B2B licences are separated
  • AML and customer due diligence requirements
  • Player funds must be segregated
  • RNG certification requirements
  • Responsible gambling controls
  • Independent ADR process for unresolved player complaints

Cons

  • Not a Canadian provincial licence
  • Authority itself doesn’t adjudicate player disputes
  • A valid licence doesn’t guarantee fast withdrawals
  • Cashout limits differ by operator
  • Bonus rules differ between casinos
  • KYC can still be required
  • Casino quality varies despite using the same licensing jurisdiction

The part we value most is the amount of information that can be checked independently. We still need the casino review after the licence check is finished.

Our Verdict on Anjouan Casinos

Our latest licence check produced three valid records, three matching casino domains and three identifiable licensed companies.

StayCasino leads at 4.5/5. It combines the highest SCC score in this group with CAD, Interac and a game catalogue exceeding 8,000 titles when reviewed.

Wolfy Casino receives 4/5, with its current licence connected directly to wolfycasino.com and Wild Blackfin Limited SRL. Osombet also scores 4/5 and is the more natural pick for cryptocurrency users.

Anjouan’s public verification system gives us useful information before registration. Current rules also cover AML, player-fund segregation, responsible gambling and an ADR route for unresolved player disputes.

We still don’t use the licence as a shortcut. Payments, withdrawals, KYC, bonuses and the company behind the account remain part of the review.

Frequently Asked Questions

Anjouan is an offshore gambling jurisdiction, not a Canadian provincial regulator. Gambling regulation differs across Canada, and Ontario operates its own regulated online market. An Anjouan licence shouldn't be presented as a Canadian licence.

Anjouan has a formal internet gaming licensing framework with B2C and B2B licences, regulatory standards and a public register. We independently checked StayCasino, Wolfy Casino and Osombet against the Anjouan validation system, and all three returned valid records with matching domains during our latest verification.

A valid record lets us confirm details such as the company, licence and operational domain. It doesn't replace checking withdrawal rules, KYC, payments, responsible gambling controls and the casino's Terms.

Search the official public register using the company, licence number or operational domain. Check that the domain in the result is the same casino website you're visiting.

They can. Current standards require customer due diligence and AML controls, so verification can still be requested even if documents weren't needed during registration.

Yes. Individual operators can support crypto. Osombet, for example, has offered BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT, ADA, DOGE, SOL and TRX. The licence doesn't require every casino to offer digital currencies.

The complaint goes to the operator first. Under the current process, the operator has up to 30 calendar days to investigate and respond. An unresolved eligible dispute can then be taken to an approved independent ADR provider. The Anjouan Gaming Authority supervises compliance but doesn't decide the individual dispute itself.

No. They are separate offshore jurisdictions with different regulatory systems.
