The lowest amount you can deposit at an online casino isn’t always one fixed number. In the Canadian cashier pages we checked, minimums changed by payment method, currency and, with crypto, the selected coin or network. Pinco starts at $1 through selected cryptocurrencies, Ivibet showed $2 through Cardano (ADA), while Batery.win and iLucki have several options from $10. A casino’s lowest cashier limit can also be different from its Interac minimum or the amount required for a welcome bonus. This guide compares minimum deposit casinos in Canada using those differences rather than assigning one misleading $ figure to every brand.
Low Deposit Casinos in Canada Compared
We selected five casinos that demonstrate how different low deposit banking can be in practice. The figures below come from the current payment information we checked, including Canadian/CAD cashier data where available.
| Casino | SCC Rating | Lowest Verified Deposit | How to Get It | Interac Minimum | Worth Knowing |
| Pinco | 4.5/5 | $1 | Selected cryptocurrencies | $20 | Welcome bonus requires at least $30 |
| Ivibet | 4.5/5 | $2 | Cardano (ADA) | $10 | Cards start at $20; crypto minimums vary by coin |
| SpinBetter | 4.5/5 | 5 USDT | USDT TRC20 | – | About $6.95 at the cashier exchange rate during our check |
| Batery.win | 4.5/5 | $10 | Card, Neosurf or Jeton | $20 | Interac withdrawals start at $30 |
| iLucki | 4.5/5 | $10 | Cards and selected e-wallets | $30 | Neosurf starts at $20 |
These figures aren’t recommendations for how much to deposit. They show the lowest verified transaction threshold we found for each casino and, importantly, the method needed to access it.
Pinco illustrates the difference particularly well. Its current payment information lists selected cryptocurrencies from $1, while Interac and Flexepin start at $20. The welcome offer has a separate $30 qualifying minimum.
So three different figures can all be correct at the same casino:
- Lowest deposit: $1
- Interac minimum: $20
- Welcome bonus minimum: $30
That’s the distinction we use throughout this comparison.
What Does “Minimum Deposit” Actually Mean?
The phrase sounds simple, but it can refer to different things:
- A casino minimum is the smallest transaction accepted through at least one available cashier option. That’s normally the figure behind labels such as $1, $5 or $10 deposit casino.
- A payment minimum applies to a particular banking method. For example, a casino might accept $10 through Visa but require $30 through Interac.
- A bonus minimum is different again. This is the amount required to qualify for a particular promotion, and it can be higher than the amount needed simply to fund the account.
This distinction matters when comparing offers. Depositing the cashier minimum may give you access to real money games without satisfying the conditions of the welcome package.

Minimum Casino Deposits From $1 to $20
SlotCasinoCanada.ca separates exact deposit amounts into dedicated guides so users looking specifically for $1 or $10 options don’t have to work through a general banking page.
| Deposit Level | What We Found | Dedicated Guide |
| $1 | Available in limited cases, often through specific methods | $1 deposit casinos |
| $2 | Uncommon and highly method-dependent | $2 deposit casinos |
| $3 | A niche threshold with fewer suitable options | $3 deposit casinos |
| $5 | Still relatively low and dependent on cashier options | $5 deposit casinos |
| $10 | More commonly available through cards and e-wallets | $10 deposit casinos |
| $15 | Less common as a distinct transaction threshold | $15 deposit casinos |
| $20 | Common for some Interac methods and promotions | $20 deposit casinos |
These categories can overlap. Ivibet, for example, qualifies for the $2 tier because its Canadian cashier showed ADA from $2, even though its Interac options started at $10.
The purpose of this hub is therefore to explain the differences between deposit levels. The individual guides deal with the exact-dollar search separately.
Why $10 Can Be More Practical Than $1
The smallest number isn’t necessarily the most useful.
A $1 option tied to a cryptocurrency you don’t use has little practical value if your preferred payment method requires $10 or $20. Conversely, a slightly higher minimum available through a familiar card or e-wallet may be easier to use.
Our Batery.win check is a good example. Bank cards, Neosurf and Jeton each started at $10, while Interac and Interac e-Transfer required $20. Crypto had a $21 minimum.
At iLucki, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Neteller, iDebit and ecoPayz started at $10. Neosurf required $20, while Skrill Rapid Transfer and Interac started at $30.
For this reason, we wouldn’t choose between two casinos purely because one advertises a smaller starting amount. The more useful comparison is the lowest amount available through the banking option you actually intend to use.
How Payment Methods Change What You Need to Deposit
Ivibet produced the widest spread during our Canadian cashier checks.
The account was set to Canada/CAD, yet the displayed minimum ranged from $2 to $85 depending on the selected method. Cardano (ADA) started at $2, several crypto options at $8, Interac at $10 and Visa/Mastercard at $20. Bitcoin and Ethereum showed $31, while other cryptocurrencies reached $55 and $85.
That means the highest minimum visible in the same cashier was more than 42 times the lowest.
Interac also varied substantially between the casinos we checked:
| Casino | Interac Minimum |
| Ivibet | $10 |
| Pinco | $20 |
| Batery.win | $20 |
| iLucki | $30 |
That comparison is more useful than saying all four casinos simply have “low deposits.” Players specifically looking for Canadian banking can compare more options in our casino payment methods guides.
Crypto Needs a Different Comparison
SpinBetter demonstrates another complication: cryptocurrency limits aren’t always best represented as a permanent CAD amount.
During our CAD cashier check, USDT TRC20 had a minimum of:
5 USDT
At the time, SpinBetter displayed:
1 USDT = $1.39
That made the transaction approximately:
5 × $1.39 = $6.95
We wouldn’t permanently describe SpinBetter as a $6.95 deposit casino. The actual threshold shown was 5 USDT, while its CAD equivalent can change with the exchange rate.
For crypto, we therefore prefer to retain the original coin-denominated requirement and use the CAD conversion only as context from the time of checking.
Low Deposit Doesn’t Mean Low Withdrawal
The amount required to fund an account tells you nothing by itself about how much must be available before requesting a payout.
Batery.win provides a useful real example:
| Method | Minimum Deposit | Minimum Withdrawal |
| Interac | $20 | $30 |
| Interac e-Transfer | $20 | $30 |
| Bank Card | $10 | Not available |
| Crypto | $21 | $21 |
| Neosurf | $10 | $10 |
| Jeton | $10 | $10 |
A player can therefore fund the account with $10 using a card, but the payment information we checked didn’t list card withdrawals. With Interac, the numbers were different again: $20 to deposit and $30 to withdraw.
This is why we treat deposit and withdrawal conditions separately. Method availability, minimum payout, processing time, verification and fees can all matter once money is being taken out rather than put in.
Players prioritizing the payout side can compare our fast withdrawal casinos separately.
The Practical Limits of a Very Small Deposit
A $1 or $2 transaction reduces the amount needed to fund an account, but it doesn’t change the mathematics of the casino games.
Consider a slot with a $0.20 minimum stake:
| Starting Balance | Number of $0.20 Stakes |
| $1 | 5 |
| $2 | 10 |
| $5 | 25 |
| $10 | 50 |
| $20 | 100 |
This isn’t an estimate of how long the balance will last. Wins and losses will change it from one round to the next. It simply puts the starting balance into perspective.
Fees can matter more at very small transaction sizes too. A network charge or currency conversion that appears minor on a larger payment can represent a meaningful percentage of $1 or $2.
A very small transaction threshold should therefore be viewed as flexibility, not as a promise of more play or better value.
Low Deposit vs Welcome Bonus
The lowest cashier amount and the minimum needed for a promotion are separate numbers.
Pinco gives us a straightforward example:
| Deposit | Lowest Casino Minimum | Welcome Bonus Minimum | What Happens |
| $1 via an eligible crypto method | $1 | $30 | Account can be funded; bonus threshold isn’t reached |
| $20 | $1 | $30 | Still below the qualifying amount |
| $30 | $1 | $30 | Deposit threshold is reached, subject to the remaining bonus terms |
Pinco’s current page lists a $30 qualifying amount for its welcome promotion while selected crypto methods start at $1.
Even reaching the required $30 doesn’t tell you whether the promotion is attractive. Wagering requirements, game contribution, maximum bets, validity and withdrawal conditions still need to be considered.
That’s why we evaluate casino welcome bonuses separately instead of treating a low entry amount as a bonus advantage.
Are C$1 and C$2 Options Actually Available?
Yes, but they’re much more specific than the label suggests.
Pinco currently provides our clearest $1 example through selected cryptocurrencies. Ivibet’s Canadian cashier showed $2 through Cardano.
Neither means that a player can necessarily open the cashier, choose any payment method and send $1 or $2. At these levels, availability can depend on the selected cryptocurrency, network, account currency and payment route.
This is one reason we’re also rebuilding the dedicated low-deposit pages. The existing $1 and $2 pages contain broad claims that don’t adequately distinguish the casino-wide minimum from method-specific limits.
For the updated pages, the method and amount should always be shown together.
What We Verify Before Adding a Casino
A low number alone isn’t enough to qualify a casino for this comparison.
For each entry, the deposit-specific review looks for:
- Lowest amount shown;
- Payment method providing that amount;
- Account currency;
- Interac minimum where available;
- Amount required for the welcome offer;
- Minimum withdrawal;
- Applicable transaction fees;
- Deposit playthrough rules;
- KYC requirements;
- Canadian availability.
These checks sit alongside our broader how we review online casinos methodology, which covers licensing, operator information, games, security, bonuses, support and responsible gambling.
The purpose here is narrower: if we tell someone a casino starts at $1, $2 or $10, we want to know how that amount can actually be deposited.
SlotCasinoCanada.ca Editorial Team: “A $1 minimum is useful information only when you know which payment method offers it, what the withdrawal minimum is, and whether the same deposit qualifies for the advertised bonus.”
Does a Smaller Deposit Reduce Gambling Risk?
Not automatically. A lower transaction size limits how much is transferred in that transaction, but it doesn’t control total spending. Five $10 deposits still add up to $50; twenty $5 deposits equal $100.
Transaction minimums are therefore not a substitute for responsible gambling controls. Deposit limits, loss limits, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion serve a different purpose.
The amount you planned to spend before opening the cashier matters more than whether the site technically accepts $1, $5 or $10. Increasing a payment solely to unlock a promotion can also defeat the reason for choosing a smaller starting amount.
Choosing the Right Deposit Level for You
The five casinos we checked show a fairly clear pattern.
$1-$5 sits at the extreme low end and can depend on a particular cryptocurrency rather than conventional Canadian banking.
Around $10, more familiar methods begin to appear. Batery.win and iLucki both showed multiple $10 options, while Ivibet offered Interac from $10.
At $20-$30, Interac was available across more of our sample. Pinco and Batery.win showed $20 Interac minimums, while iLucki started at C$30.
There isn’t one deposit level that is inherently better. Start with the method you intend to use, check its actual limit, and keep the transaction within the spending amount you set beforehand.
Before You Deposit
The lowest number displayed in a comparison table should be the start of the check rather than the final reason to choose a casino.
A useful order is:
Casino → Payment Method → Deposit Minimum → Bonus Threshold → Bonus Terms → Withdrawal Minimum → KYC
First identify the payment option you actually intend to use. Then check its limit rather than assuming the lowest amount elsewhere in the cashier applies to you. If you’re considering a promotion, treat its qualifying deposit and wagering conditions as a separate decision.
That’s how one casino can legitimately have a $1 starting option, a $20 Interac minimum and a $30 bonus threshold without any of those numbers contradicting one another.
Minimum Deposit Casinos FAQ
Among the five casinos compared here, the lowest verified option is $1 at Pinco through selected cryptocurrencies. Other payment methods at the same casino require more, including $20 for Interac.
Yes, although $1 usually doesn't apply to every payment method. Pinco currently provides a $1 example through selected cryptocurrencies, while its Canadian Interac minimum is higher.
Very small transactions are available at some casinos, but the exact threshold depends on the cashier option. Crypto may also use a coin-denominated minimum rather than a fixed $ amount, as we found with SpinBetter's 5 USDT requirement.
No. iLucki, for example, showed several methods from $10, Neosurf from $20 and Interac from $30. Ivibet's Canadian cashier ranged from $2 to $85 depending on the selected option.
Not necessarily. Pinco is a clear example: selected crypto methods start at $1, while its welcome promotion requires a qualifying deposit of $30.
Yes. At Batery.win, the payment information we checked showed an Interac deposit minimum of $20 and an Interac withdrawal minimum of $30. Deposit and payout thresholds should always be checked separately.
